About your book, "Hope of Glory" --- thank you, thank you, thank you. Your book opened up to me the emotions of scriptures, especially Rebecca and Leah. I had never stopped to consider Leah's situation. Allow me to use a rather poor illustration: The difference between a black and white TV and a full color TV. Thank you brother!
Let me tell you what you will find in Scott’s book. You will find the gospel of Jesus Christ explained in very clear terms and you will be inspired as Scott describes the hope of glory we have in Christ. This is a book you will want to share with others who are either struggling with their faith or need to make a commitment to Jesus for the first time.
Scott White has such a down-to-earth way of representing Biblical events in a story-like fashion. The chapter on "Immeasurable Love" from the perspectives of width, length, depth, and height of God's love was meaningful. I would love to have the privilege of hearing Scott preach and tell stories on a regular basis. What a blessing!!
For anyone who has been on a journey of faith -- either to search for God or to rediscover a faith in Him that has grown dim -- Hope of Glory is a wonderful road map. Scott White does it in a gentle, non-threatening way that nonetheless challenges one's intellect and faith.
Hope of Glory is a book that you should get for yourself and your family, then for anyone else you care about. It is well-written--and very interesting. It will cause you to think. I highly recommend Hope of Glory to everyone--no matter their faith.
Hope of Glory is so encouraging. It is easy to read, as chapters can be read in any order. I especially loved the chapters that bring to life bible characters in story form to help you see the points being made. I highly recommend this book, especially in the scary world we are experiencing today, that could easily cause us to lose our hope.
I really liked the way the author used so many people from the Bible, some we don't think about very often, and gave them life. I especially enjoyed the part about Noah. Hope of Glory reads easily and progresses well to a conclusion that gave me more hope than I had before reading this book. We can never have too much.

The author wrote this book in simple English language; anyone can read and understand it. It is presented from a first-person standpoint and has a friendly tone. I liked the profound honesty he displayed in the narration of his personal experiences.
I like the illustration he made about God’s type of forgiveness; I agree with him. The author stated: “When it comes to forgiveness, we often use the first method - we forgive, but the memory is still there. God uses the delete key when He forgives. When it comes to forgiveness, forget the Liquid Paper or erase ribbons. Instead, move into the computer age and use that delete key so that where the error was will now be a blank space, ready to have something new and better added to the story.”
I enjoyed reading the Hope of Glory: Filling Yourself with the Promises of God. I give the book four out of four stars. I recommend it to everyone, particularly Christians, who are in despair.
